Dagenham & Redbridge have signed Charlton striker Ade Azeez on a initial month-long youth loan deal.

Azeez has had previous spells with Wycombe, Leyton Orient and most recently Torquay, where he scored two goals in 10 appearances before his time at Plainmoor was cut short by injury. The 20-year-old striker has been on the radar of Daggers manager Wayne Burnett for some time, and he is glad to be adding the youngster to his squad. "I am absolutely delighted we've managed to obtain the services of Adebayo Azeez. He's someone we've seen on a number of occasions and we think he will only enhance our squad," said Burnett. "I'd like to thank Charlton Athletic for helping us, hopefully he can come here and be very successful." Azeez is available for the Daggers' Sky Bet League Two game at home to Hartlepool on Saturday afternoon.
