Meades stays on with Wombles

Bournemouth youngster Jonathan Meades has extended his loan at AFC Wimbledon until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old, who has played at left-back and in midfield for the Dons, was due back at Dean Court next week but boss Neal Ardley has now secured his services until the summer. "I know that Neal Ardley has been trying to get me here for the rest of the season for a while now and it is great to now have it confirmed," Meades told the Dons' website. "Bournemouth were not sure whether I was going to go back there or not, but they signed another player and Eddie Howe is now happy with me staying here. "I am playing every week at Wimbledon, which is really good, and I have been made to feel very welcome at the club."
