Torquay and Shrewsbury hope to keep the pressure on League Two's automatic promotion places as they meet at Plainmoor.

The Gulls' unstoppable form has seen them climb up to sixth in the table, while the Shrews sit only a point above but could go third with a win.

Torquay boss Martin Ling won the Manager of the Month award on Friday after seeing his side win all five games in January.

The sides above them all have games against teams in the bottom half of the table, including league leaders Crawley who entertain 18th-placed Aldershot.

Crawley regained top-spot after beating previous leaders Cheltenham on Tuesday and the Robins face a short trip to relegation-threatened Hereford.

Swindon were due to play Barnet in a repeat of the Football League Trophy Southern Final, but the game has been postponed due to a frozen playing surface.

It gives Southend the chance to regain first-place for 24 hours, as they entertain out-of-form Rotherham at Roots Hall on Friday evening.

Meanwhile, two sides chasing the play-offs meet at the Pirelli Stadium as Burton host Gillingham, whose recent slump in form has seen them drop out of the top seven.

Rejuvenated Bristol Rovers host Morecambe to complete the fixture list.

Games between Dagenham and Northampton, AFC Wimbledon and Bradford City, Port Vale and Crewe, Accrington and Oxford as well as Macclesfield and Plymouth all falling foul of the weather.
