AFC Wimbledon loan signing Billy Knott believes his new side could yet make a push for the play-off places.
The Dons are currently 16th in League Two after a miserable 12-game winless run which came to an end on Knott's debut, Saturday's 2-1 win at Port Vale.
The 19-year-old midfielder last week moved to Kingsmeadow on an initial month's loan from Sunderland and feels he can help them climb back up the table.
"If we get a few wins under our belt now you never know, we could push for the play-offs," he told the Dons' official website.
"We're playing the clubs around us in the coming games, so if we can take points from them we will know we are going in the right direction."
