Vale boss unsure whether to extend midfielder's loan

Port Vale manager Micky Adams has yet to make a decision on whether he will extend the loan of Bristol Rovers midfielder Sean Rigg. Since joining Vale in November, Rigg has made three substitute appearances for the club and is due to return to Rovers on 2nd January. Adams expects the 21-year-old to feature over the Christmas period and is keeping an open mind about his immediate future. "He's not our player, so we need to be mindful of the wishes of Bristol Rovers," Adams told The Sentinel. "It's been difficult for Sean, but he's played a part recently and I'm sure he will do over the Christmas period. "We'll see what happens. I've got an open mind about lots of things at the moment and there are a lot of things bubbling under the surface."
