Gillingham have continued preparations for the new season with the signing of Aaron Morris from AFC Wimbledon on a two-year deal.

Following on from the addition of namesake Glenn, defensive midfielder Morris becomes Peter Taylor's second signing of the day and will join the League One club on July 1. The 24-year-old Welshman forged his career at Aldershot, making more than 100 appearances for the Skrill Premier League side, before joining the Dons in January 2014 on a short-term deal. Despite suffering a serious cruciate ligament injury in April 2013, Morris still managed 17 appearances in five months for Wimbledon before agreeing a deal with the Gills.
