Fabio Capello: Left his job with England on Wednesday
Former England coach Fabio Capello has told Italian TV that he left his job due to a 'misunderstanding'.
The Football Association confirmed on Wednesday that the 65-year-old had quit as coach, after talks over their decision to strip John Terry of the captaincy.
After Terry had the captain's role taken away, Capello said in an Italian interview that he was not happy and did not agree with the deal.

The FA were not happy with Capello's comments and after their meeting he quit - but now he says he left because of a misunderstanding.
Speaking to a light-hearted Canale 5 television show Striscia la Notizia, who presented him with their Tapiro d'oro for negative story of the week, he spoke for the first time.
"I didn't run away, I left because there was a misunderstanding," he said.
"I felt great but sometimes you decide to leave."
Capello has already been linked with a move back to Italy, with Inter Milan reportedly looking at him - but he insisted he was not set for a new role anywhere.
"In Italy, no. Absolutely not. Now I want to relax," he said.
Speaking in Lugano, Switzerland, Capello was even asked what Queen Elizabeth II thought of the matter. "The Queen is above it all," he said.
