West Brom manager Roy Hodgson is flattered to be linked with England and he insists it is not an 'impossible' job.
The veteran coach has been mooted as a possible successor for Fabio Capello, although Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp remains the favourite for the role.
Ex-Liverpool tactician Hodgson, who has managed Switzerland and Finland, has transformed West Brom since his appointment last year.
Only 24 hours ago the 64-year-old was refusing to comment on speculation regarding England, but he has now admitted: "I am flattered to be considered."

Managing the Three Lions is seen as somewhat of a poison chalice due to the demands and expectations of the job, however, he does not think the position is 'impossible'.
"I don't think any job is impossible," he continued.
"England have won a major tournament - only one, but they've still won one - and we are working in a league where football of a very high quality is played and we are producing players who most people would regard as top European standard.
"So, impossible, no."
