England captain Steven Gerrard has warned that the Euro 2012 qualifier against Switzerland will be no easy task.
The Three Lions take on the Swiss in Basel on Tuesday, looking to make it two wins in two after seeing off Bulgaria on Friday.
Fabio Capello's men cantered to a 4-0 victory in their last game, as a Jermain Defoe hat-trick fired them to a comfortable win, sending them top of Group G on goal difference.
Switzerland managed to beat Spain 1-0 in the World Cup this summer, and Gerrard knows that they will prove difficult opponents, singling midfielder Gokhan Inler out for praise.
He said: "They're a top side. Defensively they're very good. We'll be watching more tapes of them before the game.
"I followed them really closely in the World Cup because we were linked with a player called (Gokhan) Inler with the rumours that (Javier) Mascherano was supposed to be leaving Liverpool.
"They'll be difficult to break down. I liked Inler. Thought he was good, but I don't control what players we sign."
Wayne Rooney is set to play for England despite Sunday's newspaper allegations regarding his private life.
Gerrard, meanwhile, will continue in centre midfield alongside Gareth Barry as Frank Lampard is out injured.
