Aaron Ramsey is an injury concern for Arsenal after hobbling off towards the end of Wales’ victory in Andorra.

The midfielder, 23, was substituted in the 89th minute after a knock to his ankle, which will be assessed on Wednesday ahead of Arsenal's clash with Manchester City on Saturday.

Wales boss Chris Coleman said after his side won 2-1 in their opening European Qualifier: “Aaron got a kick and there was a twist in his ankle.

“It was coming to the end of the game and it was pointless taking a risk with him.

"Hopefully he'll be OK for Arsenal at the weekend, but we'll have to see what the next 24 to 48 hours hold.”

Ramsey has been in devastating form already this season, with two goals in three Premier League games, and he was influential on Tuesday as Gareth Bale scored twice to give Wales all three points on the Iberian peninsula.

Ramsey spent a large part of last season out with injury, however, and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger would be at pains to lose him once again so early in the campaign.
