Ligue 1 outfit Brest have confirmed the appointment of Landry Chauvin as their new coach on a two-year contract.

Ligue 1 outfit turn to former Nantes coach

Ligue 1 outfit Brest have confirmed the appointment of Landry Chauvin as their new coach on a two-year contract. The deal includes the option for a 12-month extension should both sides wish to prolong their association. Brest have been able to call on Chauvin following his resignation from second division side Nantes. He stepped down from that post after seeing his working relationship with Nantes owner Waldemar Kita deteriorate. Chauvin steps back up into the top flight with a side that finished the 2011/12 campaign in 15th place, three points clear of the relegation zone.
