Stevenage boss Graham Westley has challenged his relegated side to "restore some pride" over the last two games of the season.
Boro were condemned to the drop on Monday after a 3-1 defeat by Bristol City stretched their winless run to 10 matches.
They host Walsall on Saturday before a final-day trip to promoted Brentford, and Westley insists there is still plenty to play for.
"The future starts every day," he said. "What we have to do is do everything we can to restore some pride to the football club. Everybody would love to finish with six points.
"We are strained, resources are low so we will be asking a lot of people, lads who keep having to playing week after week and others getting their first taste of League One football.
"I hope everyone gets behind the players and gives them the encouragement to finish the season strongly.
"People are fighting for their futures, whether it's a new contract or a first contract, so everyone's playing for something and we have to make sure people go into the summer with something to be proud of."
