Preston striker Chris Beardsley has joined League Two side Bristol Rovers on a one-month loan deal.
The 29-year-old will remain with the Pirates until November 30 after finding himself pushed further down the North End pecking order following the arrival of Paul Gallagher on a loan deal from Leicester. Beardsley has played 22 times for Preston since arriving on a free from Stevenage in August 2012, although none of those outings have come this term.
