Leyton Orient midfielder Jimmy Smith feels the club's miserable start to the season is firmly behind them.

The O's were rooted to the bottom of the table after failing to win any of their first 10 games. But Saturday's 2-0 victory at Rochdale made it six matches unbeaten and moved Russell Slade's side up to the heady heights of 17th. Smith played in an unfamiliar right-back role but still managed to get on the scoresheet and was quick to praise his team-mates. "Everyone played well at Rochdale, from the goalkeeper all the way up to the strikers, and we defended well to get that clean sheet," he told the club's official website. "We had a bad start to the season but we're unbeaten for a few games now and we need to push on."
