Charlie Lee has made his swap from Peterborough United to Gillingham permanent after penning a three-year deal.
The versatile former Tottenham apprentice made only four appearances for the Gills last season but soon became a firm favourite among the fans. Andy Hessenthaler was keen to keep the 24-year-old who was a catalyst in kickstarting the clubs outstanding run of form, notching up just two losses in 27 league games. Lee got a taste of first team action during a loan spell at Millwall before leaving White Hart Lane for Peterborough. The Londoner went on to make 150 appearances for Posh including last month's play off final victory over Huddersfield.
