Darius Charles' agent has told skysports.com that the Ebbsfleet United defender is the subject of an enquiry from a League Two club.
The former Brentford youngster rejected a move to York City earlier this week after Ebbsfleet had accepted an £80,000 offer for Charles and team-mate Michael Gash.
Charles could now secure a move back into the Football League, 12 months after leaving Brentford for Blue Square Premier side Ebbsfleet.
His representative Clive Hart confirmed an unnamed club had made an approach, but there is also further interest in the 21-year-old.
"There has been an enquiry from an unnamed League Two club," Hart told skysports.com.
"We have an agreement with Ebbsfleet that if a league club comes in they will listen to offers."
