Wilson eyes Hill not Hoskins

Matt Hill is a transfer target for Sheffield United but manager Danny Wilson admits Will Hoskins is not on his radar at the moment.

Defender Hill made 15 appearances for the Blades towards the end of last season, including the play-off final defeat to Huddersfield at Wembley, before being released by Blackpool. Brighton striker Hoskins also spent time on loan at Bramall Lane over the second half of last term before a hernia problem cut short his stay in April. Wilson told the club's official website: "We would like Matt to rejoin us and we have approached him and his agent. He has plenty of options, as you would expect, but we feel he would be ideal with his versatility. "He is solid and experienced in two positions and we need experience if we are to play with several youngsters again next season." Speaking of Hoskins, Wilson added: "He has done nothing since leaving here because of his hernia operation. He won't come into our reckoning again until he gets fit and starts playing games. Will isn't an immediate target."
