Wilder: Wants better from team
Chris Wilder was left frustrated by Oxford after another disappointing result in front of their fans as they drew 2-2 with lowly Hereford.
In a bizarre game, U's centre-half Michael Duberry scored three times. The former Chelsea and Leeds defender chalked up two own goals before getting a late equaliser at the right end to go some way to making amends.
Top scorer James Constable, who this week turned down a £250,000 move to Swindon, had an off day in front of goal.
Wilder said: "We created enough chances to win three or four games. In these last two games we were looking to kick on and it just hasn't happened. This is our second season now in this league and we should be beating Hereford at home.
"JP (Jon-Paul Pittman) has come in and got a few goals, but there's a nervousness with Alfie Potter at the moment when he's in front of goal. Other people have got to chip in.
"Their goalkeeper has made some unbelievable saves and they defended heroically at times, but these last two have been two difficult results to take."
