Simpson relieved after victory

Macclesfield boss Gary Simpson was relieved after his side completed a nervy comeback to beat Aldershot.

After going ahead before half-time through Danny Hylton, the Silkmen produced a stirring fightback as Ross Draper set up George Donnelly and scored a goal of his own to down the Shots 2-1. Simpson said: "I thought we had done well to be 1-0 down as we struggled to hold them. "We had to change the formation four times in the game and we were getting completely overrun, we conceded just before half-time and Jose (Veiga) pulled off some unbelievable saves. "We decided to change it and go with a diamond and get it in behind them, George (Donnelly) scores and a great finish from Drapes, and then they've headed things, cleared things and blocked things. "They're a big, strong side and they put the ball in areas that hurt you. To be fair we were quite happy to take the points from this one."
