Winger leaves Peterborough
Winger Alfie Potter has completed a permanent switch to Oxford from Peterborough for an undisclosed fee.
Potter spent last season on loan with United, scoring the third goal in their 3-1 Blue Square Premier play-off final victory over York, and has now has signed a two-year contract.
The 21-year-old joined Posh in 2007 but only featured three times for the first team.
He spent numerous spells out on loan - including a stint at Havant & Waterlooville when they famously gave Liverpool a scare in a 5-2 FA Cup fourth-round defeat in January 2008.
