Skysports.com understands Hereford goalkeeper Wayne Brown is a surprise target for a number of Belgian clubs.
Brown has enjoyed a fine season to date with League Two hopefuls Hereford and his performances have not gone unnoticed.
The 31-year-old has been instrumental in Hereford's success this term and he has established himself as a key member of Graham Turner's side.
Brown is out of contract in the summer and as yet he has not agreed a new deal at Edgar Street.
The news has alerted interested clubs with Belgian duo Club Brugge and Charleroi thought to be keeping tabs on Brown's situation.
Brown's agent Jesse Learoyd-Hill has confirmed that the keeper has attracted interest from Belgium, but that the player was hoping to stay at Hereford and help them win promotion.
He said: "It is true that there is interest in Wayne from a couple of Belgian clubs.
"I have been contacted by two clubs in Belgium who have expressed an interest in Wayne.
"Wayne is out of contract in the summer, but he is not worried about his future as he is concentrating on helping Hereford win promotion to League One.
"He is very happy at Hereford and hopefully he will stay there."
