Sammy Moore has signed a new deal at AFC Wimbledon, which will see him stay until the summer of 2016.

The 26-year-old midfielder, who made 43 appearances for the Dons as they finished in mid-table in League Two last season, will remain at Kingsmeadow after penning a two-year deal. Boss Neal Ardley said: "I thought he was one of our most consistent players last season alongside the likes of Barry Fuller and Andy Frampton. "It's a tough league that we're in and it requires a lot of players to do the work that makes them unsung heroes. "Sammy is one of those players. He works really hard for the team and it was important to sign him again as we look to improve next season." Moore joined the Dons in 2010 and is their longest serving player.
