Goalkeeper Hope Solo has been recalled by the US Women’s National Team after serving a 30-day suspension.

The Seattle Reign stopper has been named in the provisional 25-strong squad for next month’s Algarve Cup in Portugal.

Solo was suspended last month by the U.S. Soccer Federation after her husband, former Seattle Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens, was arrested in Southern California on suspicion of driving under the influence in a U.S. team van.

Solo, who was in training camp with the national team at the time, was with Stevens when he pulled over.

The 33-year-old was forced to sit out friendly matches against France and England whilst serving her suspension, with Washington Spirit goalkeeper Ashlynn Harris replacing her in the side.

USA will be making their 20th appearance in the 12-team Algarve Cup and face Norway, Switzerland and Iceland in the group phase.
