Chile have confirmed the appointment of Claudio Borghi as their new coach.
Borghi, who quit as coach of Argentine giants Boca Juniors, has agreed to take over from Marcelo Bielsa.
Bielsa quit the role despite leading the South American nation to their best World Cup finish since 1962 at last summer's finals in South Africa as they made the second round.
"Today we begin the road to Brazil 2014," said Sergio Jadue, the new president of the Chilean football association.
Argentine Borghi has extensive experience in Chile having both played and coached in the country for a number of years.
"This is a big responsibility," Borghi said of his appointment.
