Sky Sports understands Leicester City have handed a trial to Slovakia international goalkeeper Dusan Pernis.
The 27-year-old shot-stopper is currently a free agent after leaving Dundee United this summer.
Pernis was a regular for the Tangerines last season, starting all 38 of their Scottish Premier League games.
The former MSK Zilina man is now training with the Foxes, who are considered among the favourites for promotion.
Pernis is believed to be enjoying his time with Leicester and keen to win a move to England after impressing in Scotland.
