Five-star Socceroos ease to win

Australia proved too strong for Malaysia with a 5-0 victory at Canberra Stadium. Josh Kennedy and Alex Brosque netted a brace each with Luke Wilkshire also on the mark as Australia warmed up for next week's World Cup qualifier against Oman in style. The home side got off to a flying start when Wilkshire fired them in front after just three minutes when he converted Rhys Williams' cross. Kennedy doubled the lead on 33 minutes after being superbly played in by Neil Kilkenny. Brosque added a third and Kennedy volleyed home another Williams cross for 4-0 before the interval. Brosque completed the rout midway through the second half when he collected a pass on the edge of the penalty area and spun sharply to send a fierce low drive beyond the despairing reach of Che Mat. Arsenal striker Park Chu-young netted two goals as South Korea were held to a 2-2 draw by Poland in Seoul. Robert Lewandowski fired Poland in front after 32 minutes, but Park drew the hosts level midway through the second half when finding the net past Arsenal team-mate Lukasz Fabianski. Park gave South Korea the lead on 76 minutes from a shot from the edge of the area, but Jakub Blaszczykowski's equaliser eight minutes from time earned Poland a draw.
