Ghana and the Ivory Coast have been handed tough draws for the 2012 Africa Cup on Nations.
Both sides are considered favourites for the championship but could struggle to progress from their respective groups following the draw on Saturday.
Ghana have been pitted against Botswana, Mali and Guinea in Group D, while the Ivorians will have to confront Sudan, Burkino Faso and Angola in Group B.
In Group A, co-hosts Equatorial Guinea will have to contend with Libya, Senegal and Zambia, while fellow co-hosts Gabon, Niger, Morocco and Tunisia comprise Group B.
The Afcon is Africa's most prestigious international football competition and will be held in the Equatorial Guinea and Gabon from 21st January to 12th February.
Libya's encounter with Equatorial Guinea in Bata on 21st January will be the opening game of the tournament.
