The Chinese outfit have seen an undisclosed offer accepted for the 27-year-old and he will complete a switch when the transfer window re-opens.

"Lucas Barrios won two Bundesliga titles with us and in 82 league games scored 39 goals, so that is why we met his wish to change clubs and play first-team football," read a statement released by Dortmund.

Barrios has spent the last three years in Germany having arrived in European football from Colo Colo in 2009, but feels he needs to move on for the sake of his career.

"It's not an easy situation that I am going through this season," he told Deutsche Presseagentur.

"I have been a regular at all of my clubs for seven years in a row. I need to be playing regular first-team football."
