African star linked with top flight clubs

Ivory Coast left-back Tiene Siaka has revealed he is confident of securing a switch to the Premier League from Valenciennes. The 28-year-old defender, who can also play in midfield, currently plies his trade in the French top flight but could be allowed to leave for €1.5million (£1.2m). English clubs West Ham, Fulham and Wolves are thought to be chasing his signature, and Tiene has revealed he has instructed his agent to begin negotiations. He told skysports.com: "The club has given me a blessing for a transfer and I have told my agent based in England to find me a club there "I have other contacts but my first priority is to play in the Premier League. I am looking forward to that. "There is nothing concrete as yet but things might go quickly in the next 48 hours. "I am confident. I have a contract here so I am relaxed. I hope to realise my dream of playing in the best league in the world."
