Freiburg goalkeeper Oliver Baumann was determined not to be too downbeat after his blunders handed Hamburg a 3-0 win in their Bundesliga clash.
The Freiburg captain was responsible for all three of Hamburg's goals, first badly misjudging the bounce of a long ball as he rushed off his line and allowing Maximilian Beister an easy goal.
He came off limits again for the second goal, trying to gather the ball as soon as it was in the area, but let it slip through his fingers and Pierre-Michel Lasogga netted.
He then spilled a routine Beister shot, allowing Rafael van der Vaart to tap home a third.
"These things happen, we carry on," Baumann said on www.kicker.de.
"The situations simply did not work out as I had planned them. That makes me stronger.
"It is not the case that I am distraught. It is better that it happens in one match than in three. We hope that it does not happen again."
