Walsall have agreed to extend winger Ashley Hemmings' loan spell at Burton until after the League Two play-offs.

Hemmings has made four appearances for the Brewers since joining them on loan at the end of March and will now help them in their bid to win promotion via the play-offs. The 23-year-old joined Walsall in the summer of 2012 on a free transfer from Wolves and has featured in 32 games for the club in all competitions this season, scoring five goals. He has also had loan spells at Cheltenham, Torquay and Plymouth. Burton will be aiming to stay in fifth place on Saturday in their last match when they travel to Southend, who are also already assured of a top-seven finish.
