Burton boss Gary Rowett was not too hard on his team after their run of three 1-0 league wins came to an end against York.
The Minstermen went ahead in the 64th minute when substitute Michael Coulson's cross skidded in off the head of home defender Shane Cansdell-Sherriff. But the hosts were level eight minutes later when Billy Kee latched onto Damien McCrory's ball into the box and rifled a low shot just inside a post from 10 yards out. Rowett said: "We're not always going to play great and win games. "We won three on the spin before today, so that's 10 points from four games and we can't to be too unhappy with that. "I always thought it was going to be a difficult game, and it was never going to be filled with too much quality because of the windy conditions. "We have to look at the positives - and again we've shown great determination to come from a goal down. But at home you're always looking for a little bit more. "That perhaps sounds a little bit greedy but we're always looking for the wins that will solidify out position and get us into the top three. "We're just lacking a little bit at home in terms of scoring the goals we did last season."
