Defender Phil Edwards will leave Rochdale this summer after the club announced they will not be renewing his contract.
The 27-year-old had been offered a new deal, but his agent indicated Edwards will not be accepting the terms and will now head to pastures new after 52 appearances since signing, initially on loan, in March 2012. "We would like to thank Phil for his services and wish him all the best for the future," a club statement said.
