Plymouth Argyle have made a double loan swoop to sign Burnley forward Alex MacDonald and Preston striker Juvhel Tsoumou.
Scotland Under-21 international MacDonald joins the Pilgrims on a deal until March 6, while Tsoumou will stay with Argyle until the end of the season.
MacDonald has made one senior start for the Clarets this season, as well as making six appearances as a substitute. The 21-year-old has already enjoyed temporary spells with Falkirk and Inverness.
Tsoumou moved to North End in the summer from German side Alemannia Aachen following a successful trial.
The Congo-born 21-year-old has scored four times in 22 appearances but has not found the net since the October defeat to Bournemouth.
