Pesch salutes brutal Brewers

Burton boss Paul Peschisolido was left purring after a magical attacking display from his side downed Barnet 6-3 at Underhill on Saturday.

A hat-trick from Billy Kee and goals from substitutes Adi Yussuf and Jack Dyer as well as striker Calvin Zola proved more than enough in the League Two encounter, with the hosts mustering efforts from Izale McLeod, Ricky Holmes and Sam Deering in response. "Offensively we were fantastic at times," Peschisolido said. "We looked like we were going to score every time we got into their half. "Our front players were absolutely magnificent. Defensively it wasn't our best but I can give them a bit of a day off because our forwards got them out of trouble. "But that's what we ask sometimes. If people are having a bad time, it's down to the rest of us as a team to put things right and thankfully the strikers did the job. "Billy Kee was absolutely phenomenal. He's a fantastic finisher. He gets strikers goals, top corner goals, all sorts of goals. I thought his hat-trick was one of the best I've seen. Billy got his first League hat-trick, Adi's first League goal and Jack Dyer's first League goal. It was a pleasing day all round."
