Manager Lee Bradbury has praised the blossoming partnership of Michael Symes and Wes Thomas up front for Bournemouth.
The pair enjoyed a second-half spell together at MK Dons on Saturday, where Thomas bagged both goals in a 2-2 draw.
And Bradbury believes something special might be brewing as the duo develop an understanding of each other.
"They have worked hard in training to try to strike up an understanding," he told the Daily Echo.
"They are building it day in, day out. Michael is a hold-up target man who can score goals as well and Wes is an off-the-shoulder link player.
"But they can both do both jobs and, if they can get an understanding of who is doing what and when, they will be good."
