Peschisolido happy with point

Burton boss Paul Peschisolido took plenty of positives from his side's 1-1 draw with Port Vale, despite throwing away a win.

Aaron Webster gave the Brewers a lead midway through the first half as he headed home Chris Palmer's corner, but Vale earned a point as Doug Loft netted before the break. "I think we're good value. We're exciting to watch and we create the chances," said Peschisolido. "It was end-to-end but what pleases me is that I think the team last season would have crumbled. "Port Vale are a big, strong and fit side who can intimidate you a little bit but we didn't back down from anything. "I think if we had showed a little bit more nous in the final third we might have come away with all three points. We certainly had enough one-on-ones with the keeper. "The signs are positive and I think we've already shown that we've progressed from last season. We've fared well in all of our games and we could easily be sitting at the top of the league with nine points instead of having just three."
