St Johnstone have confirmed Stevie May has signed a one-year contract extension at the club.

The 19-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough season while on loan with Alloa last season where he snared 19 goals.

His goals helped the Wasps claim the Irn-Bru Third Division title in what was an excellent campaign for them.

May's efforts saw him scoop both the Irn-Bru Third Division Player of the Year and Scottish Football League Young Player of the Year awards.

Saints manager Steve Lomas is now ready to unleash the teenager's striking talents on the Scottish Premier League next season.
