Barker slams wasteful Shakers

Bury manager Richie Barker was not satisfied with his side's 3-2 win over Yeovil, stating they should have won by more.

Steven Schumacher's double and a Joe Skarz header gave the Shakers a precious three points - Ryan Dickson and Steve Maclean replied for the visitors - and kept them in the hunt for a play-off place, but Barker said his team should have won by more. Barker said: "I think the scoreline is very harsh on us, it doesn't tell the whole story, I felt we were the much better team and with all respect to Yeovil I feel had we taken our chances we would have won by many more. "I wasn't pleased with our defending at times, we just switched off. It was a little bit amateur from us at times and we gifted them their equaliser, so we have to learn from that. "We always feel we can improve and we'll look at some of the mistakes we've made and work on them on the training ground."
