Falkirk defender Tam Scobbie is happy to play a more reserved role in the Scottish Cup final against Rangers as long as his side win.
The 21-year-old stole the headlines as he notched his first goal of the season in the semi-final clash with Dunfermline to open the scoring back in April.
But the youngster admits that he does not care who grabs the limelight this time around as long as it is a Falkirk player.
Scott Arfield sealed the Bairns' safe passage through to the final against Dunfermline from the penalty spot and Scobbie insists that he knew the size of the team's achievement immediately after the game.
"I spoke to Scott after we scored in the semi-final and told him that it was one of the biggest things you could do," he said.
"Now we have a chance to do something bigger and make a real name for ourselves on Saturday. But it's not about myself, or Scott, scoring goals.
As long as we win
"I wouldn't care if our keeper Dani Mallo popped up with a goal as long as we got the win. That would be good enough for me."
To highlight their achievement in reaching the final you only need to look at the fact that the last time they won the competition was way back in1957 while the last time they got to the final was 12 years ago, not that Scobbie can remember.
"I would be lying if I said I had memories of the 1997 final against Kilmarnock. I was just too young," he admits.
"But Falkirk lost and still had 5000 fans out in the streets to see them coming back in the open-top bus.
"Hopefully, this time we can go there and get a better result."
