Arsenal v Tottenham, 4.45pm, Saturday, Sky Sports 1

Live Ford Saturday Night Football

I don’t see anything but an easy Arsenal win. I just don’t think Tottenham are very good. Seriously, they got beaten at home to West Brom last week and when Sky Sports showed the highlights, the best Spurs chance was a pass going through and Emmanuel Adebayor getting tackled. They didn’t have any good shots and I’m not just saying it, I honestly think this will be an easy win for Arsenal. Spurs look very soft and haven’t got anyone who will go there and kick Arsenal off the park. If the game is “you-pass-we-pass” I don’t see how they can stay with Arsenal. Playing Mesut Ozil behind Danny Welbeck worked a treat at Villa and I expect more of the same. I’ll say 3-0 to Arsenal – and that’s being kind!

PAUL PREDICTS: 3-0

Stoke v Newcastle, 7pm, Monday, Sky Sports 1

Alan Pardew

Live Ford Monday Night Football

The Britannia Stadium is usually a fortress, but Stoke have lost both of their home games this year and could only draw at QPR last week. However, they beat Sunderland in the League Cup and I expect them to get back on course by winning this. Newcastle simply let in too many weak goals, so if Stoke start well they can have this game sewn up by half-time. I don’t think it will cost Alan Pardew his job though. Against Hull they came back from 2-0 down to get a draw and so if you’re sat upstairs you’d probably think he’s got the players on side. They could have easily lost that game 3-0 or 4-0 so I think he’ll stay in the job.

PAUL PREDICTS: 2-0

West Brom v Burnley, 3.30pm, Sunday, Sky Sports 1

LONDON, ENGLAND - SEPTEMBER 21: James Morrison (2nd L) of West Brom celebrates with teammates after scoring the opening goal during the Barclays Premier L

Live Ford Super Sunday

This week has shown you how quickly things can change in football. West Brom went to Tottenham last week with everybody (except the players and manager) expecting them to get a good hiding – and they went and won. Then they go and score twice in the last five minutes to beat Hull in the League Cup. All of a sudden they can win this game to complete an amazing week and everything will have changed. I don’t see where Burnley will score a goal because they’ve been bang unlucky with the injuries to their strikers, so I can’t see anything but a home win.

PAUL PREDICTS: 2-0

Liverpool v Everton

Everton's James McCarthy and Liverpool's Jordan Henderson (centre) battle for the ball

This is a big game for both teams because both have been having a bit of a disaster so far and whoever loses will be having even more of a disaster. It might kick-start the season for whoever wins and I’ve got to go for Liverpool to get a narrow win. That’s mainly because I’ve never known Everton to be so bad defensively. They’ve been all over the place and they were well beaten by Swansea in midweek with a decent team out.

PAUL PREDICTS: 2-1

Chelsea v Aston Villa

Kurt Zouma of Chelsea celebrates scoring the first goal during the Captial One Cup Third Round match between Chelsea and Bolton

I know Aston Villa had a bug last week but you can’t see them getting anything away at Chelsea after they lost at home to Arsenal. Chelsea look to be very efficient this year with Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa going forward and it’s lucky Villa had a good start because they’ve got some horrible fixtures at the moment. Villa fans can’t moan about what they’ve done so far and they now need to find a bit of consistency.

PAUL PREDICTS: 2-0

Crystal Palace v Leicester

Leonardo Ulloa of Leicester City scores his team's fifth goal from the penalty spot during win over Manchester United

I’m really tempted to go for an away win here because I’ve been so impressed with Leicester so far. The win over Manchester United was the icing on the cake and is a really massive result for that team. Likewise, Crystal Palace had a huge result against Everton, who I thought were a home banker last Sunday. Off the back of those results I don’t think there will be much between them in this game and I’ll go for a draw.

PAUL PREDICTS: 1-1

Hull v Man City

Manchester City's Frank Lampard

You wouldn’t say this is an easy game for Man City, but you would expect them to win. Hull threw away a two-goal lead at Newcastle last Sunday and will be kicking themselves and I thought Manchester City looked good against Chelsea, even after Pablo Zabaleta was sent off. They also scored seven against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek, so it seems like things are starting to click for them.

PAUL PREDICTS: 1-3

Man Utd v West Ham

Louis van Gaal

This game all depends on how Sam Allardyce approaches it. If West Ham go to Old Trafford and have a go at them, like they did at home to Liverpool, then they will cause absolutely loads of problems because Man United are terrible at the back. If they go there, sit back and try to defend then they will fizzle out and lose, so surely you have to go there and go for them? I hope they do that because they’ll give them a right game. It could go one way or another and that’s why I’m making two predictions for this game!

PAUL PREDICTS: 2-2 (if Allardyce goes for it) or 2-0 (if he doesn’t).

Southampton v QPR

This is a fairly easy one to call. QPR are really struggling and Southampton are doing really well. Nobody expected them to be playing this well and they’ve really turned things around after a difficult summer when so many players left. They have been outstanding and I can’t see anything but a home win against a QPR team that is still trying to find its feet.

PAUL PREDICTS: 3-0

Sunderland v Swansea

Sunderland's Jozy Altidore (third right) is congratulated by his teammates after scoring his side's first goal during the Capital One Cup Third Round match

I watched Swansea’s game with Southampton on Soccer Saturday last week and I thought they were unlucky. They were the better team for 30 minutes before Wilfried Bony did something stupid and got himself sent off. I thought they would miss him in midweek, but they still scored three against Everton. I’ve seen a lot of Sunderland this season and I think they’ll have a go at them – and Swansea have the pace to get them on the counter. Another impressive win for Swansea, I think.

PAUL PREDICTS: 1-2
