The clock is ticking on the transfer window slamming shut - and FanZone's Mick Farley can't wait.

Hammers struggling to see off admirers

Zola has shown incredible resolve so far in the battle to keep the spine of his team in tact. It reminds me of the time a Premier league star tried to pull my girlfriend (now wife). Hopefully like her indoors, Parker, Bellamy and Upson; a) do not want to move up north, b) are not motivated by money and c) find nouveau rich northerners unattractive and vulgar. With the biggest check book in world football at his disposal I find it bizarre that the Sparkmeister is selecting players from the heart of a struggling team and to be fair all three Hammers have been at so called bigger clubs and not really made the grade. If the City owners lose patience and sack the under achieving, grey bubble permed coach then surely our staff will remain intact for the rest of the campaign. The Bubble Blowers should devour Fulham like a roast dinner this Sunday lunchtime. I think some of the football we played in our last outing at Newcastle was sublime, we are finally managing to break teams down and our defence is sound. However Fulham have yet to win away from home this season and as any West Ham fan will tell you it would be typical for us to change that stat. Isn't it lovely to see the 'big' club Spurs languishing in the bottom three! I cant help thinking that maybe they used up their quota of luck too early this season. If they continue to play like they did against Wigan then it could be curtains for the North London losers. Ciao
