STAT ATTACK

  • 9 - the number of goals QPR have conceded this season
  • 8 - the yellow cards Stoke have picked up
  • 23 - the corners Manchester United have taken
  • 24 - the shots on target Fulham have had
  • 41 - the goalscoring chances Everton have created
  • 1600 - the successful passes Manchester City have completed
  • 7 - the number of players who have picked up bonus points in every game they have played

For some inspiration, why not have a look at the statistics so far and decide which players will make your second team?

Blues on top

Chelsea top the Fantasy Premier League Points table after three matches with a massive 219 points bagged by their team and it is looking like Eden Hazard could be the key signing for Roberto Di Matteo.

He has won 46 points for the Champions League winners - Hazard has contributed an amazing six assists and picked up, on average, 15.6 points per game - which makes him the most valuable player so far this season and his relatively affordable price of £7.7m has led to 36.15% of managers picking him.

So far this this season's surprise packages have been Swansea City - they have racked up a total of 203 points - boasting the third best pointes per game ratio of 70.6 and a total goals tally of nine.

Fantasy managers will be wondering when top scorer Michu will run out of steam. After four in three games so far, matches against Aston Villa, Everton and Stoke could further enhance his scoring record..

Liverpool's poor start has seen them languishing near the bottom of both the Fantasy Football table and the Premier League table.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers - and 9.4% of managers - will be looking to Luis Suarez (£9.6m) to live up to his Fantasy price tag that saw him priced as the fourth most expensive striker.

Fantasy bosses will also be looking to the Liverpool defence to drastically improve as they have the third worst defence conceding a total of seven goals.
