Sky Sports will show over 800 live games over the coming season with action from the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, SkyBet Football League, Capital One Cup, La Liga, Eredivisie, Copa del Rey and Coppa Italia as well as European qualifiers for Euro 2016.

September serves up an intriguing north London derby on Saturday Night Football, as Arsenal host Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium. Mauricio Pochettino is the new man in the Spurs hotseat and will hope to have stamped his authority on his team by this point of the season. However, with Arsenal already having added Alexis Sanchez to the ranks, getting anything against the Gunners could prove a difficult task.
October brings the first meeting in English football between two familiar faces. Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho were together at Barcelona but have since faced each other in the 2010 Champions League final when Mourinho’s Inter emerged victorious against Van Gaal’s Bayern. The Dutchman will be looking for a different outcome when the abrasive duo clash at Old Trafford and with Juan Mata set to play against Chelsea for the first time since his January switch there are subplots galore.
The big games keep coming for Van Gaal and November sees the Manchester United boss take his team to the Etihad Stadium. City have done the double over United in two of the last three seasons, winning the title in both of those campaigns, with Van Gaal brought in to change that.
