Andrea Mantovani has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away from Chievo.
Speculation over the defender's future is nothing new after a number of clubs were thought to be interested in signing him this summer.
Mantovani opted to stay and has again made it clear that he will not be going anywhere in January as reports of a possible departure resurface.
Fiorentina are believed to be monitoring the 26-year-old's situation following an impressive start to the season with Chievo.
"I will be remaining, absolutely," Mantovani told Calcionews24.com after the side's 1-1 draw with Juventus.
"The team are doing all the right things to avoid relegation and I hope we can continue to do so."
Sunday's result kept Chievo in mid-table going into a short break over Christmas and the New Year, with the Serie A season to resume on 6th January.
