Sky Sports understands that Hamilton Academical are lining up a transfer coup in the shape of Inter Milan goalkeeper Dawid Smug.
The 20-year-old Pole is set to arrive in Scotland on Wednesday, when he will link up with Alex Neil's squad and spend the next week with the newly promoted side.
Smug has one year left on his deal at the San Siro, but Inter are willing to let him leave on a free transfer.
Smug joined Inter from MSP Szamotuly in 2012, and has progressed well through their youth ranks.
He is now eager to taste first-team football and he is now hoping that chance will come at New Douglas Park.
