Fixtures: Inverness first for Hamilton in the Scottish Premiership

Hamilton begin life back in the top-flight with a home game against Inverness on Saturday August 9 followed by a trip to St Mirren four days later.

St Johnstone are next up at New Douglas Park followed by Partick away and Ross County at home to round off August.

Alex Neil’s team face champions Celtic for the first time on October 4 at Celtic Park – the first return fixture is scheduled for January 17.

And there is a home derby clash with Motherwell to see in the New Year – the Accies’ first trip to face their local rivals is on September 27.

Hamilton have only three league fixtures in February but they are all crucial with a home game against Aberdeen followed by trips to Celtic and St Mirren.

And Hamilton reach the split with two home games against St Johnstone and Kilmarnock followed by a long trip north to Aberdeen.
