On-loan ace happy at New Douglas Park stay

Mickael Antoine-Curier has expressed his delight after his loan spell at Hamilton was extended until the end of the season. Accies have been in talks with French marksman recently over an extension after Dundee agreed he could remain with the SPL side. Antoine-Curier initially joined Hamilton on a six-month loan deal, but five league goals in 13 start persuaded manager Billy Reid to keep him on. The 26-year-old, who has played for a host of clubs throughout his career, shunned interest from England to remain at Hamilton and ensure stability.

Interest

"There were a few clubs interested, but I wanted to see out the season in the SPL," he told skysports.com. "I was happy to stay and I'm keen to repay the faith shown in me by Billy Reid "It was a good offer, but I wanted stability as well so that's why I've decided to stay."
