Antoine-Curier hoping loan is extended

Hamilton forward Mickael Antoine-Curier hopes his loan from Dundee will be extended for the remainder of the season. The French striker's stint is due to expire at the turn of the year, meaning as it stands he only has two games left for the club. Antoine-Curier is enjoying his football at New Douglas Park and that has transpired into good form having scored five Scottish Premier League goals. The 26-year-old insists talks between the clubs are on-going and that it will be down to Hamilton whether he remains.

Hopeful

"I hope something can be sorted out between Hamilton and Dundee," said Antoine-Curier. "Hamilton are trying to speak to Dundee to see if I can stay here until the summer. "Dundee manager Jocky Scott has said that at the end of the day it is up to Hamilton to come up with something if they want me. "But at this moment in time I am just trying to concentrate on playing football and producing my best form. "I couldn't do that at the weekend because of the weather for our game against Dundee United and now I only have two matches left unless something changes."
