Aldershot boss Dean Holdsworth is refusing to press the panic button despite seeing his side fail to score for a sixth successive game.
It proved to be another hugely frustrating afternoon for Holdsworth as he saw shot-shy Aldershot dominate territory and possession against Accrington but fail to hit the back of the net.
A failure to take all three points will mean Holdsworth is anxiously looking over his shoulder - but he insisted he was pleased with what he saw from his side during the goalless stalemate.
"The point was the least we deserved. I was extremely delighted with the first-half performance, I thought we were fantastic and just needed that extra bit of fine-tuning," Holdsworth said. "I thought they showed a lot of desire and worked their socks off but it's bittersweet because you want that goal to go in.
"I was delighted with a lot of things. The passing was good and the creation of chances was good. I'm of course delighted with the clean sheet. We looked very solid. We had to earn the clean sheet.
"I told them to keep believing and playing like that and chances will come. But at the moment I'm feeling a little bit sorry for the lads because they're not getting what they deserve. We just need that little bit extra in front of goal and we'll be there."
